Before the Portrait Session The best photography shoots are well planned. A pre-shoot conversation over the phone will enable us to understand the feel of images you are looking to achieve from your portrait session. The best time of the day for photographing babies and children is usually the morning, as this seems to be when they are the happiest & ready to play. However, every child is different, so you will have to gauge the ideal time for you. For the first child portrait session, you can also consider photographing your child on his/her own rather than in the company of other children to avoid distractions. Toys and interaction with you will give enough to potential for great photos. Make sure that your children are well rested and happily fed. Have some snacks with you just in case. You can also bring your favourite music to play during the photoshoot session if it makes them happy. You do not have to decide on your package before your portrait session. Your eventual package will depend on the number of images that you select. During the Portrait Session Each photography session in the studio lasts about 1 hour. It's a free-form creative photo session. We will do a variety of poses/props/backdrop/group combinations to capture your child’s spontaneity. Camera used is the 50-megapixel Canon 5Ds. Makeup is not provided in our packages. However, makeup artists can be arranged at additional cost. Alternatively, mothers can come to the session with light makeup and we'll do light facial touchups on your selected images. There is no limit on the number of outfits you can bring, just a time limit for photoshoot session of about 1 hour. We do not provide outfits 'cos 1. we think own clothes fit better and show more of your personality, 2. due to hygiene considerations. After the Portrait Session After your portrait session, we will take another 20 minutes to generate a preview DVD of all good exposures (typically 200 to 300) taken during your session. You can bring the preview DVD home for your selection at your own time. Images on the preview DVD are in viewing resolution of 600x400 pixels, and not for printing. You can also choose to select the images on the spot. There are no pressure sales tactics. Because at BerryHappy Photography, we pride ourselves in the quality of our work. Package Options Our package options are: Studio Packages, Album Packages, Canvas Packages, & Multi-Session Packages. All prices stated are in Singapore dollars, nett. For typical Album Packages, you can choose a mixture of baby/child portraits & children/family portraits for your album. Children/family portraits of up to 4 persons are priced at an additional $30 per selected image above baby/child portraits. Therefore, for e.g. for Merry Package with 8 child & 2 family portraits, your package total is $388 + (2 x $30) = $448 nett only. The images that you select will be edited for colour, contrast, saturation, cropping, and light facial touchups. Requests for detailed/extensive digital editing incurs additional charges from $20 per image. Edited images will be written in full resolution (50 megapixels) for you on your DVD. They are printable to A0 size. You can also choose to have: - All good exposures (unedited) from 1 photoshoot session on DVD, with 36 x 4R prints (exposure corrected only, no facial touchups), for: - 1 child only at $388. - up to 4 persons at $488. - up to 8 persons at $588. - up to 12 persons at $688. - up to 18 persons at $788. - up to 26 persons at $888. Notes We have flexible operating hours, and hence are by appointment only. However, we especially work on Sat/Sun/Public Holidays. Our BerryHappy Photography Studio is conveniently located in Chinatown area. A deposit of $300 is required on the day of your photo shoot, with the balance payable on collection of your DVD and prints/album. Payment terms are in cash only. What if we need to postpone? We understand how parenthood is like and how unpredictable babies can be, therefore it is perfectly fine to postpone a booking even on the day of your session.
